John 1:1 answered.

+The NT was written in Koine Greek so the clauses may differ from modern greek+

(English)John 1:1,2 In beggining was the word, and the word was toward The God and god was the word. 2 This one was in the beginning toward The God
(Greek)John 1:1,2 En arche ein o logos and o logos ein pros ton theon, kai theos ein o logos. 2. Outos ein en arche pros Ton Theon.

In John 1:1, the first mention of God is Ton theon. Since Theon is a masculine word and ends with "-n" and follows the article "ton", This means that this is the Accusative form. In English, this would be called the Direct Object. Logos is a Masculine noun. Since it follows the article "o" and has the "-s" ending, we know this is the Nominative form, which is known in English as the Subject. If you didn't pay attention in school or just never went, i'll give you an example of what a Direct object and Subject is.

1. The cat(subject) chased the dog(direct object)
2. The dog(subject) chased the squirrel(direct object)
3. The squirrel(subject) climbed the tree(direct object)

So basically The Word(Jesus) was facing toward The God(Yahweh). This one (Jesus) was in the beginning towards The God(Yahweh).

Kai theos ein o logos (and god was the word) is the same equivalent as saying "and red was the crayon" or "and black was the man". Now I will give another example using the John 1:1 template. In beginning was the crayon(subject), and the crayon was toward the rectangle(direct object), and rectangle was the crayon(subject). You would understand this as; that the crayon was next to a rectangle, and the crayon itself was also in a rectangular shape. Another example would be, In beginning was The Teacher , and The Teacher was next to The Latino, and latino was The Teacher. This one(The Man) was in the beginning speaking to The Latino.

Conclusion. Jesus has a divine nature just like how All of God's angels have a divine nature. But even then even, imperfect human Judges/Rulers were called gods.

John 10:34"Jesus answered them, "Is it not written in your Law, 'I have said you are "gods"'?"

Exodus 4:16" He will speak for you to the people, and he will be your spokesman, and you[Moses] will serve as God to him."

Exodus 7:1" The LORD then said to Moses: “See, I have made you[Moses] like God to Phar′aoh"

1Corinthians 15:47,48" The first man is from the earth and made of dust; the second man is from heaven. Like the one made of dust, so too are those made of dust; and like the heavenly one, so too are those who are heavenly."

*(see footnote at bottom)Psalms 8:5*"You have made him a little lower than the angels(elohim)[Click for interlinear] and crowned them with glory and honor."

And John 1:18 distinguishes Jesus as an Only-begotten God in the father bosom. Hence, they are seperate. http://biblehub.com/interlinear/john/1-18.htm

*Some scholars (not all) claim that since Elohim isn't applied to angels in the old testament, and although the septuagint renders "elohim" as angels(Psalms 8:5), and although this is a parallel to Hebrews 2:7, It should not be rendered as angels in this case, But instead should be rendered as God. So they think it is suppose to say "You have made him a little lower than God"(some bibles render this verse as just that). In this case it wouldn't make sense in this case to render it "Made him a little lower than God", because most knowledgeable trinitarians I know already admit that Yahweh is above Jesus. So he was already "a little lower" than God. He did and currently does have a higher rank than angels. However, when he came down to earth, he became lower than angels.

1 Corinthians 11:3 "But I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ,......and God is the head of Christ"

1 Corinthians 15:28".......the Son himself will also subject himself to the One who subjected all things to him, ........."

Revelations 3:12"“‘The one who conquers—I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God, ..... and I will write upon him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the New Jerusalem that descends out of heaven from my God, and my own new name."
