Tartarus
What is Tartarus?

What does the bible say about the Dead?

They are unconscious. The Bible does not support that philosophical idea that the soul continues to lives when you die.

(NWT)Ecclesiastes 9:5  "For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing at all, nor do they have any more reward, because all memory of them is forgotten."

Ecclesiastes 9:6"Their love and their hate and their envy have already perished, and to time indefinite they have no more share in all that is done under the sun."

Psalms 13:3 Look upon me and answer me, O Jehovah my God. Give light to my eyes, so that I may not fall asleep in death,

(NLT)Ecclesiastes 9:10"Whatever you do, do well. For when you go to the grave, there will be no work or planning or knowledge or wisdom."

(ESV)Psalms 115:17"The dead do not praise the LORD, nor do any who go down into silence."

1Thessalonians 4:13"Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep [in death], so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope."

(NWT) Psalms 146:4 " .His spirit goes out, he returns to the ground; On that very day his thoughts perish.

What is Tartarus?

Not to Be confused with the Tartarus In Pagan Mythology, Tartarus is the Prison-like state the Fallen angels are in.

2 Peter 2:4 "For if God didn't spare the angels who sinned but threw them down into Tartarus and delivered them to be kept in chains of darkness until judgment;"

Jude 1:6  "And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their proper dwelling—these he has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day."

Many Bible Translators did not know what this really was and replaced it with Hell(Sheol/Hades). Tartarus is exclusive to The disobedient angels who have lost many priviledges. Satan couldn't possibly still be called god of this world and be in Hades at the same time.

1John 5:19 "We know that we originate with God, but the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one.

Ephesians 2:2" in which you at one time walked according to the system of things of this world, according to the ruler of the authority of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience."

John 16:11" then concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged."

Job 2:1,2"Afterward the day came when the sons of the true God entered to take their station before Jehovah, and Satan also entered among them to take his station before Jehovah.
2  Then Jehovah said to Satan: “Where have you come from?” Satan answered Jehovah: “From roving about on the earth and from walking about in it.”"

Revelations 12:7-9"And war broke out in heaven: Mi′cha·el and his angels battled with the dragon,..........8 but they did not prevail,.........9the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth; he was hurled down to the earth, "

(Job 2:1,2 and Revelations 2:7-9 Are two different situations and should not be confused as if they are the same event. Revelations being the later event)

The Dead are conscious of nothing.

(NLT)Ecclesiastes 9:10"Whatever you do, do well. For when you go to the grave, there will be no work or planning or knowledge or wisdom."

Psalms 30:9"What profit is there in my death, in my going down to the pit?
Will the dust praise you? Will it tell of your faithfulness?"
Psalms 31:17"O Jehovah, may I not be put to shame when I call on you.May the wicked be put to shame;May they be silenced in the Grave."
Ecclesiastes 9:5  "For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing at all, nor do they have any more reward, because all memory of them is forgotten."
Ecclesiastes 9:6"Their love and their hate and their envy have already perished, and forever they have no more share in all that is done under the sun."
They fallen angels were sent to Tartarus during Noah's time.
1 Peter 3:19,20 "And in this state he went and preached to the spirits in prison, 20 who had formerly been disobedient when God was patiently waiting in Noah’s day, while the ark was being constructed, in which a few people, that is, eight souls, were carried safely through the water."

The Destruction and Desolation Of Babylon Prophesy in the Bible

Book of Isaiah Written: 740-680 B.C.E.
Babylon Conquerued 539 B.C.E.
Babylon Prophecy

Isaiah 13:19
And Babylon, the most glorious of kingdoms,
The beauty and the pride of the Chal·de′ans,
Will be like Sod′om and Go·mor′rah when God overthrew them.

Jeremiah 50:13
Because of the indignation of Jehovah she will not be inhabited; She will become utterly desolate. Anyone passing by Babylon will stare in horror And whistle because of all her plagues.

Who destroys Babylon?
Isaiah 44:28
The One saying of Cyrus, ‘He is my shepherd,
And he will completely carry out all my will’;
The One saying of Jerusalem, ‘She will be rebuilt,’
And of the temple, ‘Your foundation will be laid

Isaiah 13:17
Here I am raising up against them the Medes,
Who regard silver as nothing
And who take no delight in gold.

Has Babylon been revived into a functioning city that resembles anything of it's past glory?

"My Lord and My God"

John 10:28"In answer Thomas said to him: “My Lord and my God!”

Thomas wasn't calling Jesus God. Rather, he was making a statement towards God through Jesus.

Let's remember the account with Jesus, the army officer, and the sick servant.

Matthew 8:5"When he entered Ca·per′na·um, an army officer came to him, pleading with him"

Luke 7:2,3"Now an army officer’s slave, ....... 3  When he heard about Jesus, he sent some elders of the Jews to him to ask him to come and make his slave well.

Now we know this isn't a contradiction. The Army officer sent the elders to accomplish his will. They were representing the presence of the Army officer.

In the Old-testemant, angels themselves were referred to as God. Manoah for one(Father of Samson) called one of God's angel's God. Even though he knew it was an angel. Angels are messengers/servant of God. He fulfills his will using them."

Judges 13:21,22
The LORD's angel did not appear again to Ma·no′ah and his wife. Then Ma·no′ah realized that he was The LORD's  angel. 22  Ma·no′ah then said to his wife: “We are sure to die, because it is God whom we have seen.

When Jacob wrestled with God's angel, He was given the name Israel with means, "Contender of God,God prevails/contends. But Jacob didn't wrestle with God himself.

Genesis 31:1"Jacob also went on his way, and the angels of God met him. 2When Jacob saw them, he said, “This is the camp of God!” So he named that place Mahanaim."

Genesis 32:28"Then he said: “Your name will no longer be Jacob but Israel, for you have contended with God and with men and you have at last prevailed.”"
Verse 30"So Jacob named the place Pe·ni′el, for he said, “I have seen God face-to-face, yet my life was preserved.”"

Also

Exodus 3:2-4"And the angel of YHWH appeared to him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush. ......4When YHWH saw that he turned aside to see, God called to him out of the bush, “Moses, Moses!” And he said, “Here I am.”"

Also

Genesis 18:1,2"Afterward, Jehovah appeared to him....2  He looked up and saw three men standing some distance from him. When he saw them, he ran from the entrance of the tent to meet them, and he bowed down to the ground."

18:22"Then the men left from there and went toward Sod′om, but Jehovah remained with Abraham."
19:1"The two angels arrived at Sod′om by evening, and Lot was sitting in the gate of Sod′om. "

Angels referred to as Jehovah

19:13"so that Jehovah sent us to destroy the city."

19:18" Then Lot said to them: “Not there, please, Jehovah! "

19:21So he said to him: “Very well, I will also show you consideration by not overthrowing the town you speak of."

19:22 "Hurry! Escape there, because I cannot do anything until you arrive there!”

19:24"Then Jehovah made it rain sulfur and fire on Sod′om and Go·mor′rah—it came from Jehovah, from the heavens."

Three men(angels) came. 2 left to Sodom and Gomorrah. 1 remained with Abraham which was also referred to as Jehovah. The Other 2 were also referred to as Jehovah.

Also

Exodus 7:1,2"Jehovah then said to Moses: “See, I have made you like God to Phar′aoh, and Aaron your own brother will become your prophet.

Exodus 4:16 "He will speak for you to the people, and he will be your spokesman, and you will serve as God to him."

So Moses was to serve as Aaron's God, although he was just a representative standing in place for God.

Even Peter was a direct representative of God!!
Acts 5:3,4"Then Peter said, “Ananias, how is it that Satan has so filled your heart that you have lied to the Holy Spirit ........4..... And after it was sold, wasn’t the money at your disposal? What made you think of doing such a thing? You have not lied to men but to God.”"

Hagar also referred to an angel as God

Genesis 16:7 "Now the angel of the LORD found her by a spring of water in the wilderness, by the spring on the way to Shur. "
Genesis 16:13 "Then she called the name of the LORD who spoke to her, “You are a God who sees”; for she said, “Have I even remained alive here after seeing Him?”"

Last but not least, Jesus even said whoever has seen him has seen the father. Which if tooken literally would actually be teaching modalism. So it has to be figurative on some sort. Also God is invisible. John 4:24 Read more on this here.

Q. Does the bible make any mention of living forever on Earth?

The answer is yes.
Psalms 37:11"But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace."

Psalms 37:29 "The righteous will inherit the land And dwell in it forever."

Matthew 5:5"Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth."

Revelations 21:2:3"... I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride ........... 3....... a loud voice from the throne, saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them,…"

Proverbs2:21,22 "For the upright will live in the land,
and the blameless will remain in it;
22but the wicked will be cut off from the land,
and the unfaithful will be torn from it."

Q. Does Colossians 1:16/John 1:3,10 Prove trinity?

Col 1:16 “For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him.”

This does not prove anything other than the fact that Jesus was very neccessary for creation to even happen. Something anti-trinis. agree with. It would be unreasonable to assume that His firstborn would just sit back and watch his Dad do all the work. Now I post scriptures.
1 Corinthians 8:6
" there is actually to us one God, the Father, from whom all things are and we for him; and there is one Lord,Jesus Christ, through whom all things are and we through him"
John 1:3"All things came into existence through him, and apart from him not even one thing came into existence.:
John 1:10"He was in the world, and the world came into existence through him, but the world did not know him."

What do this scriptures above say about God? From whom all things are. What does it say about Jesus? Through whom all things all. This isn't even a complicated matter. I'll use a simple anology. A pizza hut chef makes a pizza. The delivery driver delivers the pizza. "Not one pizza has been delivered without help from the delivery driver"
Did things come into existence through the Father? No
Did things come from Jesus as 1Corinth. 8:6 says? No
Did things come from Jah the Father? Yes
Did things come though Jesus Christ? Yes.

So using the following scriptures as a Pro-trinitarian argument doesn't really hold up much scrutiny.

Q. Is Jehovah only the God of Jesus the Mediator Man?

Ephesians 1:17"that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the accurate knowledge of him."

Hebrews 2:7 is a scripture quoted to show that since He was made a little lower than angels it makes sense to say that had a God over him

"You made him a little lower than angels; you crowned him with glory and honor, and appointed him over the works of your hands."
w

He can't still be a human in heaven because human bodies don't exist in heaven.

1Corinthians 15:47,48" The first man is from the earth and made of dust; the second man is from heaven. Like the one made of dust, so too are those made of dust; and like the heavenly one, so too are those who are heavenly."

When Jesus became man, he left behind his heavenly body and adopted a human one. Once he completed his mission of dying for our sins, he gained his heavenly body back.

[After the ascension] Revelation 3:12 The one who conquers—I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God, and he will by no means go out from it anymore, and I will write upon him the name of my Godw and the name of the city of my God, the New Jerusalemx that descends out of heaven from my God, and my own new name.y

Hypothetically, even if Jesus was still a man in heaven, it wouldn't matter because he was placed at God's right hand.

Ephesians 1:20 "which he exercised toward Christ when he raised him up from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places, "

1 Peter 3:32He is at God’s right hand, for he went to heaven, and angels and authorities and powers were made subject to him.

So even while he was exalted to the right hand of God, he was still referred to as having a God.

Revelation 1:6"and he made us to be a kingdom, priests to his God and Father—yes, to him be the glory and the might forever. Amen."

Ephesians 1:3"Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, for he has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in union with Christ"

1 Peter 1:3"Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, for according to his great mercy he gave us a new birth"
